10 THINGS you need to stop wasting time on

          It's hard to think about a story and not ask yourself "What do I need to stop wasting time on?".

          Sometimes, we feel that the time is passing by but we cannot figure out the exact means.

          Here are some things to consider.....




10  THINGS you need to stop wasting time on :





1. Compulsive busyness


          Schedule time everyday to not be busy. Have dedicated downtime - clear points in the day to reflect, rest and recharge. Don't fool yourself; you're not so busy that you can't afford a few minutes.

Now, How to schedule that time?

          Make it a habit to dedicate some time, at least 30 minutes to spend with your family and loved ones. 

Now, Why to do this ?

          Because the life is made up of moments and if they pass, you cannot bring it back even with all the money in the world.

2. The desire for everything you don't have 


          No, you won't always get exactly what you want but remember this : There are lots of people who will never have what you have right now. The things you take for granted, someone else is praying for. Happiness never comes to those who don't appreciate what they already have. 

Now, Why you won't always get exactly what you want  ? 

          This is because the world works in large parameters, so sometimes your little desires don't get accomplished in the working system of the world.


Now, Do you know this ?


          Every single day millions of people sleep in roads and slumps, they exactly desire how it would be to live the life that you are already living.


3. Worrying about the mistakes you have made


          It's OK if you mess up; that's how you get wiser. Give yourself a break. Don't give up. Great things take time, and you are getting there. Let your mistakes be your motivation, not your excuses. Decide right now that negative experiences from your past won't predict your future.

          - It costs your joy.
          - It costs your psychy.
          - It makes you feel stressed.
          - It costs the joy of your soul.


5. Trying to impress everyone


          One of the most freeing things we learn in life is that we don't have to like everyone, everyone doesn't have to like us, and that's perfectly OK. No matter how you live, someone will be disappointed. So just live your truth and be sure you aren't the one who is disappointed in the end.



Now, Why trying to impress everyone is futile?


          Because all the people are different, they are designed to be like themselves from birth. Anything you do cannot satisfy them, and it's not your duty to satisfy them.

6. People who continuously dump on your dreams


          It's better to be lonely than allow negative people and their opinions derail you from your destiny. Don't let others crush your dreams. Do just once what they say you can't do, and you will never pay attention to their negativity again.

Now, How negative people affect you?


          Negative people spread negative energy by their words and actions. By being around them your mind starts to get affect from that environment and get you off track from your dreams.

Now, What are the opinions of negative people?


          - You cannot do this.
          - How is it possible!
          - There is no way.
          - Nobody can do this.
          - You should focus on something else.


7. Close - minded judgement
 


          Open your mind before you open your mouth. Don't hate what you don't know. The mind is like a parachute; it doesn't work when its closed.

Now, How to keep your mind open?


          Be optimistic, be an observer of everything around you including opportunities.

Now, Why to be open minded?


          Because your brain cannot have everything all at once, you cannot do that. And you cannot know everything, you just know 10% of the stuffs that the world has to offer. So, by being open minded, you can see more opportunities.

8. Any hateful thoughts at all


          Set an example. Treat everyone with respect and kindness,  even those who are rude to you - not because they are nice, but because you are. Make kindness a daily ritual ; its what makes life happier and more fulfilling in the long run.



Now, Why to let go of hateful thoughts?


          Because it produces various health problems including stress and anxiety.

Now, Why to treat everyone with kindness and respect?


          Because we are all human beings and we don't even know the process in which people or a person bacame rude or unkind through his or her life. So, respect and be kind to everyone especially to rude and unkind ones because they lack it the most.


9. Hitting snooze 


          Setting your alarm earlier so you could hit snooze means that you trade quality sleep for the lower quality semi-sleep. Its OK to wake up earlier than necessary to make sure you don't miss something important. In this case, get up when the alarm sounds and use the extra time to do something productive.

Now, Why to avoid hitting snooze?


          Because when you hit snooze button you declare that you are lazy and you can imagine how the day will go if you start the day with a lazy mindset.

Now, What are the advantages of waking up early?


          - It gives you opportunity to organize the day.
          - It gives you a silent and peaceful environment               which you can hardly get throughout your day.
          - It keeps you ahead throughout the day.
          - It betters your health.
          - You are ready to face the day with joy.

10. Social obligations


          Attending parties, social events, especially baby showers out of obligation, not desire or love. You create your reality. Make sure you interact with the people who are helping you grow and make you happy. Cut everything else.

Now, Why to avoid obligations?


          Obligations are obligations, no matter how they are, you cannot grow by winding around obligations. Working requires a different mindset.


Now, How to avoid unimportant obligations?


          - Ask sorry for not attending.
          - Politely affirm that you busy.
          - Say that you are working on an important
            project.
          - Attend rarely.
          - Consider that it does not matter much.
